— During The Build
We won’t embarrass your business at the start...
Your business deserves a launch worth showing off. Here’s what we make sure never happens to it.
Problem: Lorem ipsum placeholder text left on the live website.
Solution: We review every page before launch with a tight quality process.
Problem: AI-generated images of people with 6 fingers.
Solution: We curate real stock photography and use the best-of-the-best.
Problem: Unreadable light gray text on a white background.
Solution: We check color contrasts and test for WCAG accessibility issues.
Problem: A fancy design that breaks when you open it on a phone.
Solution: We test across phone, tablet and desktop before it ships.
Problem: Three rounds of vague feedback, six rounds of revisions.
Solution: We give you a comprehensive first draft; not a half-finished design.
Problem: A generic site that could belong to any business in your industry.
Solution: A site custom designed around your business and customers.
— After Launch
…and we won’t embarrass your business later.
Long after launch, we stay on it. Three ways that shows up.
Content updates done-for-you
Hours change. Prices change. Services change. Send an update by email and we make the change, usually the same day, never longer than two business days.
We spot problems before you or your customers do
Contact forms, links, accessibility and performance are all monitored 24/7. The only thing worse than a broken contact form is one that nobody knows about.
100% USA-based, real human support
If something goes wrong, you email a person directly. No tickets, no chatbots, no overseas call centers. Just a direct line to someone who actually fixes it.

We take 6 new projects a month. 2 spots remain for June.

About Cemah
Cemah Creative is a small US-based web design team that’s been building websites for small businesses since 2011. Across 500+ projects and 15 years, we’ve learned which design choices small businesses actually need and which ones just look good in a portfolio. Cemah Spark is our productized service, designed to deliver agency-quality custom websites on a fixed timeline at a flat monthly rate.
Small enough that everyone knows your project, large enough to handle every part of the work in-house. Designers, copywriters, developers, account managers, all US-based. No outsourced design, no contracted copywriting, no offshored support.
We’re based in Saint Clair, Michigan, with a team operating remotely across the United States. Same setup since 2011. No overseas contractors in different timezones, no outsourced support. When you email us, you’re reaching someone who works here.
Yes. You’ll have a dedicated US-based account manager from your intake call through launch and into the ongoing relationship. Same person handles your scope conversations, your revision rounds, and your post-launch updates. No rotating cast, no warm hand-offs to someone who hasn’t met you.
How we compare
Most agencies treat every website as a one-off project, which is why timelines and prices balloon. We’ve built 500+ small business websites and know which design patterns work, which feedback rounds matter, and which steps can be productized without compromising craft. That’s how we hit 14 days at a flat rate without cutting corners. Same outcome as an agency engagement, very different process.
A freelancer is one person responsible for design, copy, development, hosting, and ongoing maintenance. That’s a lot of work for one person to do well, and your timeline depends entirely on their availability. With us, you get a small team that owns each piece in-house, a fixed timeline that doesn’t depend on one person’s calendar, and ongoing care after launch built into the service. We’re also still here in five years, which can’t always be said of freelance arrangements.
Builders are tools that expect you to do the work yourself: picking a template, writing the copy, sourcing photos, configuring the domain, handling ongoing maintenance. We do all of that for you. The result also looks different. Builders rely on templates by design; we design every site from scratch.
AI generates a starting point. It doesn’t deploy the site, configure a domain, manage hosting, fix a broken contact form, or notice when the copy reads like a robot wrote it. We do all of that. We also use AI selectively where it genuinely helps, but never as a substitute for craft or judgment.
The work and what’s included
Yes, and the reason is that we’ve built 500+ small business websites and know what works. Day 4 doesn’t start with a blank canvas; it starts with a design system informed by 15 years of building for small businesses. The system is what we’ve productized to save time. The craft, the layout, the copy, the photography is all built fresh for your business.
No. Every site is custom designed around your business, your industry, and your customers. The reason we can do that in 14 days is that we’ve refined the underlying structure across hundreds of small business sites, not because we’re stamping out templates. Two sites we’ve built in the same industry don’t look alike unless the businesses themselves are nearly identical.
Two rounds of revisions are included. We encourage feedback; we just batch it into rounds so the work moves forward cleanly. Endless single-line edits stretch projects out for everyone and rarely produce a better result. If something fundamental is off after two rounds, we’ll talk it through. And if it isn’t right at all, the 60-day money-back guarantee covers you.
You can, but you don’t need to. If you have photos worth using, we’ll review them during intake and work with what fits. If you have copy you like, we’ll reference it. Otherwise, we write your copy from scratch and source professional stock photography to fit your business. The only thing we strictly need from you is about an hour on the intake call.
If you have a logo and basic brand assets, we’ll work with what you have. If you don’t, logo design, raster-to-vector conversion, and brand style guides are available through our parent agency, Cemah Creative, as separate engagements. During intake, we’ll tell you what you actually need to make the site work, not what we can upsell.
We always build from scratch. If your current site has copy or photos worth keeping, we’ll reference them during intake. We don’t patch or refactor what’s there; every project starts fresh. Your old site stays live until the new one is ready to take over, and we handle the cutover when it’s time.
E-commerce stores, custom web applications, active marketing services like ads or email campaigns, and major content overhauls after launch beyond the standard update allowance. If you need any of those, our parent agency, Cemah Creative, handles them through separate engagements.
Six pages is a good starting point for most small business needs. If you need more, additional pages are $100 each, one-time, scoped during your intake call. Some clients launch with six and add later; some scope eight or ten upfront because they know the structure they need.
Terms and what comes after
Yes. There’s a subscription agreement with a 12-month minimum that spells out what’s included, what you’re paying, and how either side can part ways. The first 60 days are covered by the money-back guarantee, so you can leave with a full refund if it isn’t right.
After 24 months of continuous subscription, we transfer ownership of the design files, the content, and a lifetime license to the core code to you. The site is built on standard WordPress, so you can host it anywhere afterward. No proprietary platform, no vendor lock-in, no extra ownership fee.
You email your account rep directly. Hours change, staff changes, services change. Send us a message and we take care of it, usually the same day and never longer than two business days. No support tickets, no login portals, no client dashboard to figure out.
Cemah Spark fits small businesses with steady operations. If you’re scaling rapidly or moving into a new business model, we’ll talk through what makes sense. Adding pages and updates within the existing structure is straightforward. A major rebuild, e-commerce move, or custom application is handled by our parent agency, Cemah Creative, separately. The WordPress base also means you can move the site or hire someone else if our service stops being the right fit. You’re never stuck.
